Premier Inn saving on MP’s expenses no matter what party you are

Since May 2009, Premier Inn has been working tirelessly to demonstrate to parliamentarians that our hotels offer a viable alternative to buying second homes using their parliamentary expenses and may even save the tax payers money. Under new rules, new MPs will not be able to buy second homes using their expenses so many of the Class of 2010 could be staying in our County Hall Premier Inn, just across the river from Westminster, while in London on parliamentary business. Rooms at our County Hall Premier Inn start from £69 and are all equipped with an en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and wi-fi access everything a new MP needs. They can roll out of their King-size Hypnos beds and into the Division Lobby in 15 minutes. Please visit www.premierinn.com for further details.

How on earth can they make adverts like this misleading the truth by saying their prices are not “premier” ?

I got a twin room last week for me and a friend at TWO THIRTY in the MORNING and was charged £79 and had to check out by 12 noon.

how on earth is that a deal ?

to add, I am certainly not expecting 5 star food but for another £7.99 I had a pretty foul breakfast with cheapo orange juice / pomegranate juice and nasty scrambled eggs in the full english.

    Not happy.
